Funding announced for Anna Templeton Centre

The provincial government has announced $67,000 from the Regional Development Program for the Anna Templeton Centre for Craft, Art and Design to support two projects.
The Anna Templeton Centre for Craft, Art and Design is receiving $49,400 to support the offering of mentorship and business development training to emerging craft entrepreneurs through the Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studios business incubator.
With an investment of $18,000, the Anna Templeton Centre for Craft, Art and Design will undertake a phased business plan and functional assessment of their location at 278 Duckworth Street and the art and craft-based programming offered throughout the year.
The Anna Templeton Centre for Craft, Art and Design is a not-for-profit organization that has been offering classes and workshops from its Duckworth Street location for over 30 years.
