Thursday, gasoline prices dropped slightly by up to 0.3 cents per litre across the province.

Diesel prices increased, rising by as much as 4.5 cents per litre on the Island. In Labrador, diesel prices in Zones 13 and 13a saw a smaller increase of up to 0.8 cents per litre.

Heating fuels also saw changes. Furnace oil on the Island increased by 3.88 cents per litre, while stove oil in Labrador’s Zones 13 and 13a decreased by 0.56 cents per litre.

The adjustments reflect market data available as of the close of business on April 7 and do not account for more recent price movements.

The Public Utilities Board is scheduled to make its next fuel price adjustment on Friday.
