Fuel Prices See Increases Across Newfoundland and Labrador

Residents across Newfoundland and Labrador will see changes in fuel prices this week as adjustments take effect based on market commodity shifts and a pricing review in select areas.
On the Island, maximum fuel prices increased:
Gasoline increased by up to 4.1 cents per litre.
Diesel rose by 2.9 cents per litre.
Furnace oil heating fuel went up by 2.48 cents per litre.
Propane heating fuel, however, saw a slight decrease of 0.9 cents per litre.
In Labrador, price changes vary by zone, with adjustments reflecting market trends and modifications from the Petroleum Products Pricing Review in Zones 13 and 13a.
Key changes in Labrador include:
Gasoline prices increased by 1.1 cents per litre in Zones 10, 11, 11c, and 12. However, Zones 11a and 14 remained unchanged.
Zones 13 and 13a saw a steeper increase in gasoline prices, rising by 5.3 cents per litre.
Diesel prices increased by 1.2 cents per litre in Zones 10, 11, 11a, 11c, 12, and 14, while Zones 13 and 13a experienced a 4.0 cents per litre rise.
Stove oil heating fuel increased by 1.0 cent per litre in most zones, but in Zones 13 and 13a, the increase will be 3.5 cents per litre.
Propane heating fuel will see a 1.0 cent per litre decrease across all Labrador zones.
