Maximum fuel prices have been adjusted across Newfoundland and Labrador, with gasoline prices rising while most other fuels see decreases as seasonal blending changes take effect.

Gasoline prices increased by up to 8.5 cents per litre. Meanwhile, diesel motor fuel on the Island dropped by as much as 6.9 cents per litre. In Western Labrador, diesel prices decreased by up to 3.5 cents per litre.

Heating fuels also saw declines. Furnace oil on the Island fell by up to 5.96 cents per litre, while stove oil in Western Labrador decreased by up to 1.6 cents per litre.

The adjustments come as the Public Utilities Board begins transitioning from winter to spring fuel blends — a routine change that occurs each April to reflect warmer temperatures.

New regular fuel prices:

  • Avalon Peninsula 204.9

  • Central Newfoundland 208.6

  • Deer Lake / Corner Brook / Bay of Islands 205.9

  • Western Labrador 212.0
