Fuel prices increased across Newfoundland and Labrador following the latest adjustment by the province’s Public Utilities Board.

Gasoline prices rose by up to 4.2 cents per litre, while diesel on the Island increased by 2.3 cents. In western Labrador, diesel prices saw a smaller increase of 0.4 cents per litre.

Heating fuels also went up on the Island, with furnace oil increasing by 2.00 cents per litre. However, stove oil in Labrador’s Zones 13 and 13a decreased by 0.24 cents per litre.

The next regularly scheduled price adjustment was set for April 28.
