Fuel prices increase slightly

Motorists and homeowners in Newfoundland and Labrador saw slight increases in fuel prices following the latest adjustment.
The changes, based on market data available as of the close of business on July 3, 2026, saw all grades of gasoline increase by up to 0.2 cents per litre.
Diesel prices on the Island also rose by up to 0.2 cents per litre, while diesel fuel in western Labrador increased by 0.2 cents per litre.
Home heating fuels also experienced modest increases. Furnace oil on the Island rose by 0.17 cents per litre, while stove oil in western Labrador increased by 0.15 cents per litre.
The regulator noted that the adjustments were based on the most recently available market data and did not reflect any market activity that occurred after July 3.
The next scheduled fuel price adjustment is set for Wednesday, July 8.
