Fuel prices increase once again today

It'll cost more to fill up once again today.

Gas is up by 3.9 cents per litre. Diesel fuel prices on the Island increased by up to 5.0 cents per litre, while diesel prices in western Labrador rose by 5.1 cents per litre.

Heating fuels also increased. Furnace oil on the Island went up by 4.33 cents per litre, and stove oil in western Labrador increased by 4.50 cents per litre.

The adjustments were based on the most recently available market data as of the close of business on July 6, and did not reflect any market activity that occurred after that date.

The regulator said its next scheduled fuel price adjustment would take place on July 9.
