Fuel prices increase again this week

The Public Utilities Board set new maximum prices for regulated petroleum products today, reflecting recent changes in market commodity prices.


Gasoline prices increased by up to 2.4 cents per litre, while diesel rose by up to 2.6 cents per litre on the Island and by 1.0 cent per litre in Zones 13 and 13a in Labrador. Furnace oil on the Island increased by 2.22 cents per litre, and stove oil in Zones 13 and 13a rose by 0.87 cents per litre. Propane prices decreased by up to 0.1 cent per litre.


The next regularly scheduled price adjustment is set for March 6, 2026.
