Fuel prices increase across Newfoundland and Labrador

Motorists in Newfoundland and Labrador saw fuel prices increase following the latest adjustment by the province’s Public Utilities Board.
All types of gasoline motor fuel increased by up to 2.4 cents per litre. Diesel motor fuel prices on the Island increased by up to 2.5 cents per litre, while diesel prices in western Labrador rose by 1.9 cents per litre.
The cost of furnace oil heating fuel on the Island increased by 2.13 cents per litre. Stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador increased by 1.56 cents per litre.
The next regularly scheduled fuel price adjustment was set for Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
