Fuel prices fall across Newfoundland and Labrador

Fuel prices dropped across Newfoundland and Labrador following the latest adjustment by the provincial regulatory board.


All types of gasoline motor fuel decreased by up to 0.9 cents per litre, while diesel motor fuel on the Island fell by up to 1.6 cents per litre. In Labrador, diesel prices in Zones 13 and 13a declined by up to 1.7 cents per litre.


Heating fuel prices also moved lower. Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island dropped by 1.31 cents per litre, while stove oil heating fuel in Labrador’s Zones 13 and 13a decreased by 1.43 cents per litre. Propane heating fuel declined by 0.8 cents per litre.


The Board's next regularly scheduled price adjustment is set for Friday, Jan. 16.
