Fuel prices decreased across Newfoundland and Labrador early Friday.
The decreases reflected recent shifts in global market commodity prices.
Gasoline prices fell by up to 5.3 cents per litre. Diesel prices dropped by up to 3.1 cents per litre on the Island and by the same amount in Western Labrador.
Heating fuels also saw declines. Furnace oil on the Island decreased by up to 2.69 cents per litre, while stove oil in Western Labrador dropped by up to 2.72 cents per litre.
Propane heating fuel decreased by up to 1.3 cents per litre.
The Public Utilities Board indicated its next scheduled price adjustment was set for April 4, 2026.
