Fuel prices down slightly, carbon tax gets added Monday

The price of gas is up slightly this week by 0.7 cents per litre. Diesel has dropped 2.6 cents.

Furnace oil decreased by 3.28 cents per litre. Stove oil heating fuel on the Island dropped by 2.52 cents and stove oil in western Labrador fell by 2.16 cents per litre.

Propane heating fuel increased by 0.7 cents.

There will be an update on Monday, April 1, to reflect scheduled changes to the federal Carbon Tax.
