Fuel Prices Decrease Across Newfoundland and Labrador

Motorists and homeowners across Newfoundland and Labrador saw a decrease in fuel prices following the latest adjustment by the province's fuel regulator.
The Board announced that the maximum price of all grades of gasoline decreased by up to 3.0 cents per litre.
Diesel prices on the Island fell by up to 0.4 cents per litre, while diesel prices in western Labrador decreased by 2.7 cents per litre.
Home heating fuels also saw reductions. Furnace oil on the Island decreased by 0.33 cents per litre, while stove oil in western Labrador dropped by 3.03 cents per litre.
The Board said the adjustments were based on the most recently available market data as of the close of business on July 7, and did not reflect more recent market activity.
The next scheduled fuel price adjustment for the Island portion of the province and Western Labrador is set for Friday, July 10.
