Fuel prices dropped across Newfoundland and Labrador overnight, providing modest relief for motorists and homeowners.

All grades of gasoline decreased by up to 2.5 cents per litre. Diesel prices on the Island fell by up to 2.1 cents per litre, while diesel in Labrador’s Zones 13 and 13a declined by 2.3 cents.

Home heating fuels also saw reductions. Furnace oil prices on the Island dropped by 1.75 cents per litre, and stove oil in Labrador’s Zones 13 and 13a decreased by 1.99 cents per litre. Propane heating fuel decreased by up to 1.6 cents.

The price changes followed adjustments under the province’s fuel pricing regulations and reflected shifts in market conditions.
