Fuel prices adjusted in Newfoundland and Labrador

The Public Utilities Board increased gasoline prices while lowering most other fuel costs across the province.


Under the changes, gasoline prices rose by up to 1.2 cents per litre.


Diesel prices on the Island decreased by up to 2.7 cents per litre, while diesel in western Labrador dropped by 4.7 cents per litre.


Heating fuels also saw declines. Furnace oil on the Island fell by 2.28 cents per litre, and stove oil in western Labrador decreased by 4.63 cents per litre.


The next scheduled fuel price adjustment is set for May 5.
