Fuel price adjustments made following market developments

The Public Utilities Board intervened and adjusted maximum fuel prices outside its regular schedule following recent developments in the commodity markets.
The adjustments applied to diesel motor fuel, furnace oil, and stove oil heating fuels across the province, with the exception of Zones 10, 11, 11a, 11c, 12, and 14.
Price changes:
Diesel motor fuel on the Island increased by 8.6 cents per litre;
Diesel motor fuel in Zones 13 and 13a increased by 8.4 cents per litre;
Furnace oil heating fuel increased by 7.48 cents per litre; and,
Stove oil heating fuel in Zones 13 and 13a increased by 7.31 cents per litre.
Prices will once again be adjusted tonight.
