Fuel price adjustments announced for Island and Labrador

The latest changes to maximum fuel prices have been announced, bringing both increases and decreases across various fuel types on the Island and in Labrador.


Changes on the Island:

  • Gasoline is up by 2.3 cents per litre.

  • Diesel dropped by up to 3.5 cents.

  • Furnace oil heating fuel decreased by 3.05 cents per litre.

  • Propane heating fuel had a reduction of 4.2 cents.


Changes in Labrador:

  • Gasoline went down 16.5 cents in Cartwright, and between 0.6 and 2.8 cents elsewhere

  • Diesel decreased by 14.5 cents in Cartwright and saw increases of 0.6 cents in coastal and central Labrador and dropped 3.0 cents in western Labrador.

  • In Cartwright, stove oil dropped by 18.32 cents. Stove oil in coastal and central Labrador went up by 0.5 cents and dropped by 3.25 cents in western Labrador.

  • Propane heating fuel will see fluctuations ranging from a decrease of 11.2 cents to an increase of 2.6 cents.
