The recall, issued jointly by Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Electrolux Group, affects select models sold under the Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and Frigidaire Professional brands.

According to the notice, the ovens in the affected ranges may experience a delayed ignition of the bake burner, increasing the risk of burns.

Approximately 5,318 units were sold in Canada, with about 174,800 sold in the United States. The affected ranges were available for purchase between June 2025 and January 2026 and were manufactured in the United States.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the ovens in the recalled ranges, but may continue using the cooktop burners. Owners are encouraged to contact Electrolux Group to arrange a free in-home repair, which includes installation of a new bake burner.
Health Canada reminds consumers that recalled products must not be resold, redistributed or given away in Canada.
