Four people displaced, one cat rescued following Mount Pearl House Fire, late Friday night.


Fire crews were called to the house fire, shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Friday, on Smallwood Drive after muiltple calls to 911 came in about the large blaze. SJRFD Firefighters were dispatched from Mount Pearl, Brookfield, West-End and Central Fire Stations. Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy flames and smoke coming from the front of the home. Firefighters quickly started laying attack lines and hooking up an supply line and within twenty-five minutes the fire was knocked down with remaining hotspots.


Reports indicated that all four opponents made it out safely, and one pet car was rescued by firefighters, there were no other reported injuries at the time of the blaze.
