Four People Displaced Following House Fire in Kilbride on Tuesday

Four people have been displaced following a house fire in Kilbride on Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the home on Sinnott Place just before 2:20 p.m., when firefighters arrived on scene light white smoke was coming out of the eaves. A few minutes later, the smoke started to turn black. Other crews arrived and were sent to the roof to ventilate the structure. As firefighters were ventilating, they had heavy smoke and some fire came out of the roof of the home.

The majority of the fire was in a section of the roof. Firefighters quickly knocked the blaze down. The fire reportedly started near an electrical panel.

As a result of the fire, four people have been displaced from the home and have reportedly made arrangements with relatives. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
