Former CNA campus to be converted to courthouse in Stephenville

The former College of the North Atlantic campus in Stephenville Crossing will be converted into a courthouse and government service centre in the Bay St. George area.

The provincial government will allocate $8.5 million to renovate the space.

Currently the courthouse and government service centre operate in a 1,034 square-metre space that is 70 years old. The former College of the North Atlantic campus is vastly larger measuring close to 4,080 square metres.

Renovations will begin later this year and are expected to be completed in 2024.
