Just before midnight last night, the RNC responded to the St. John’s International Airport for a call of an out-of-control passenger on a plane.
A plane was diverted to St. John’s while travelling from Montreal to France. Officers then boarded the plane and arrested a 43-year-old male from France for assault and causing a disturbance.
He was also charged under the Aeronautics Act for unruly and dangerous behaviour.
He was held to appear in court in the morning.
