Update: The flight has made a safe landing at St. John’s International Airport and has been escorted to a terminal at the airport. The cause of the diversion remains unknown.
A Bombardier DHC-8-311 has diverted to St. John’s International Airport after reporting an aircraft emergency. The flight in question took off from Wabush, heading to Gander, but then diverted to St. John’s. The plane is operated by PAL Airlines.
