First Doses of Moderna Vaccine Lands in Labrador
The first doses of the Moderna vaccine have landed in Labrador.
Minister of Natural Resources Seamus O'Regan made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday.
The plane carrying the vaccines landed in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and from there they’ll be shipped out to communities along the Coast.
The vaccine's efficacy against Covid-19 is 94.1%.
Moderna's vaccine does not need to be kept at super-cold temperatures, like Pfizer's.
