Firefighters quickly extinguish shed fire in Goulds on Wednesday night

Firefighters quickly extinguished a shed fire in the Goulds on Wednesday night.

At about 9:45 p.m. fire crews from both St John's Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) and Goulds Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD) responded to the fire, located on Power's Road near Robert E Howlett Highway, when fire crews arrived, they found smoke and fire coming from a small shed on a property behind the GVFD Traning Grounds. Firefighters were able to quickly douse the flames, and the shed was destroyed completely.

The fire is not believed to be suspicious, and there were no injuries.
