Fire in downtown Carbonear

The Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department is on the scene of a large fire in downtown Carbonear this evening.

RCMP and Newfoundland Power are also on scene.

Water Street is blocked off.

The fire is near Coldwater Foods and Cafe. There is no word on whether or not there are any injuries.

Residents may experience decreased water pressure due to the fire department's efforts to extinguish the fire.
