Female Arrested After Assaulting a Police Officer

On Thursday evening police responded to a call for assistance from a member of the public in Mount Pearl.

Upon arrival, while officers were following up with the caller, threats were made towards a third party.

As a result of a brief investigation, a 21-year-old female was charged with Uttering Threats and Assaulting a Peace Officer.

She was held for Court in the morning.
