Federal and provincial ministers to announce development milestone

Federal Fisheries Minister Joanne Thompson and Newfoundland and Labrador Environment, Conservation and Climate Change Minister Andrea Barbour are scheduled to announce what the governments describe as an important milestone aimed at advancing development more efficiently in the province.

Thompson, who is also the MP for St. John’s East, and Barbour will make the announcement Tuesday in St. John’s.

The announcement is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Scotia Centre on Water Street.
