Excessive speeders stopped by RCMP Traffic Services West
Earlier this week, two drivers were stopped for excessive speed by RCMP Traffic Services West.
On Monday, August 26, a 55-year-old driver, who passed on a solid line travelling at 114 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone on the TCH in South Brook, was stopped by RCMP Traffic Services West. The man was ticketed, issued a licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded.
Later that same day, a vehicle was stopped on the TCH near Birchy Lake travelling 158 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone. The 21-year old man was ticketed, issued a licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded.
RCMP Traffic Services remain committed to maintaining public safety on the province's roadways.
