Evacuation order issued for the Walsh River area just outside of Labrador City

An evacuation order has been issued for the Walsh River area just outside of Labrador City. Those in this area are required to leave immediately.

An evacuation alert is in place for areas of the Duley Park Campground and the Tamarack Golf Course. Those here are advised to prepare now in the event that conditions worsen and an evacuation is necessary.

The RNC is working with emergency responders in the area.
