Early on Tuesday morning the RNC in St. John's observed a vehicle driving erratically in the downtown area.
The vehicle was stopped and the 35-year-old male driver was determined to have a suspended driver's licence and over $7,000 in outstanding fines.
The vehicle had an expired registration, no insurance and the ownership was not transferred.
The driver was also on a court-ordered curfew which he was breaching. He was issued multiple Summary Offence Tickets as well as being given a future court date. The vehicle was also impounded.
A 28-year-old male passenger in the vehicle was found to have a warrant for his arrest.
This male was released with a new court date.
