Enriching Visitor Experience along the Edge of Avalon Heritage Coast

Tourism operators are working to develop new approaches to overcome pandemic challenges, grow communities, and deliver world-class tourism experiences.

The Provincial and Federal Governments are supporting Mistaken Point Cape Race Heritage Inc. of Portugal Cove South to grow tourism along the Edge of Avalon Heritage Coast.

Government has announced a total investment of $183,811 to help Mistaken Point Cape Race Heritage Inc. develop a marketing strategy to promote the entire Edge of Avalon Heritage Coast (from Portugal Cove South to Cape Race), including the Mistaken Point World UNESCO Site.
