Employers Reminded Minimum Wage Increase Takes Effect October 1



The minimum wage will increase by 50 cents on October 1, bringing the minimum wage rate to $12.15 per hour.


This represents the second of a total of four increases to the minimum wage announced in February 2020.


There will be another increase on April 1, 2021 based on the National Consumer Price Index at that time in addition to an increase of 25 cents.


A fourth increase of 25 cents will occur on October 1, 2021.
