An emergency training exercise is planned at the St. John's International Airport this morning.
The exercise provides an opportunity to ensure emergency responders can effectively respond in the event of an emergency.
The exercise will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in airside areas only. Those in and around the airport will see an increased presence of emergency responders.
There will be no impact on airport operations.
This exercise takes place once every two years.
