Emergency crews responds to moose-vehicle collision west of Chapel Arm.

On August 9th, at approximately 11:20 am., Whitbourne RCMP along with Norman's Cove Volunteer Fire Department were called to the Trans Canada Highway west of Chapel Arm between Colliers Bay Gull Pond and Tappers Hill Pond for reports of a moose-vehicle collision that had occurred.

When crews arrived on the scene, it was confirmed that a moose-vehicle collision had occurred.

Reports indicate that the moose was killed in the crash and the individual/s had no serious injuries.
