After visiting St. John's on Monday, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau was in Hamilton, Ontario today.
In his announcement today, Trudeau announced the Liberal plan to ensure homes are affordable. The plan would block flipping homes and ban foreign nationals from purchasing homes for two years.
Erin O'Toole was in Ottawa where he focused on securing pensions. Workers would be protected should a company go bankrupt. Conservatives would prevent executives from paying themselves bonuses while managing a company that was going through restructuring. O'Toole said he supports provinces who wish to privatize some health services while saying he supports the current system.
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh was in Mississauga, Ontario. He focused on Long Term Care homes. Specifically private for-profit Long Term Care homes and how people died in these homes during the pandemic.
Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet was in Pont-Rouge, QC and Green Party Leader Annamie Paul was in Toronto.
Canadian go to the polls on September 20.
