Eight People to be Invested into the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador

Lieutenant Governor Joan Marie Aylward has announced a list of eight people who will be invested in the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.

This year’s recipients are:

• Everard (Bud) Davidge

• Clifford R. George

• Liam Hickey

• Sagmaw Mi’sel

• Andy Jones

• Patrick O’Callaghan

• Guy Poole

• Andrea Rose

An investiture ceremony on October 30, at Government House. This will be the 17th investiture ceremony since the first appointments were made in 2004, bringing the total number of recipients to 151.

The Order of Newfoundland and Labrador is the province’s highest honour.
