Earthquake off the coast of Newfoundland

A 2.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the north coast of Newfoundland today.

The earthquake was centred 33 km north-northeast of Lewisporte.

It was at a depth of 1.0 kilometres and was felt. There was no damage.
