Firefighters were called to Janeway Place just before 4:45 a.m. on Monday morning for a report of a residential structure fire.

When firefighters arrived on scene heavy smoke and flames were visible and coming from the roof and the rear of the property.

Firefighters used multiple attack lines and used a ladder truck to fight the blaze better, they also used a deck gun on a engine to try to get the fire under control.

The newly built duplex sustained significant Fire and Water damage. It is believed that fire started in the rear of the house. The duplex was unoccupied when the fire occurred.
