Driver Stopped with Driver’s License Expired for 18 Years

On July 28 RNC in Corner Brook stopped a vehicle in the Main Street area after the vehicle entered an intersection while unsafe to do so.

During the traffic stop, it was revealed that the driver, a 54-year-old male from Pasadena, NL was driving with an expired driver’s license – the driver’s license expired in 2002.

As a result, the driver was issued a summary offence ticket for entering an intersection while unsafe to do so and driving with an expired driver’s license. Even though the vehicle was registered, the vehicle was parked until a licensed driver could operate the vehicle.
