A 25-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night.
Police came upon the collision around 10:50 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2026, after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a light pole. The impact caused the pole to crack into two pieces and brought down electrical wires.
The driver was charged with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
A passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Police say neither the driver nor the passenger was injured.
The vehicle was impounded.
