Driver arrested for impaired driving after St. John’s collision

A 34-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle collision in St. John’s early Monday morning.
At approximately 1:26 a.m. on September 14, a member of Operational Patrol Services came across the collision while conducting routine patrols in the area of Mount Scio Road.
The male driver was arrested for impaired driving during the investigation.
He was later released with a future court date and is charged with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg%.
Police also impounded the vehicle.
