Downtown collision results in no injuries on Saturday

A collision in downtown St. John’s on Saturday afternoon resulted in no injuries but damage two vehicles.

At about 2:45 p.m. emergency crews responded to the intersection of Prescott Street and Gower Street. Firefighters from the St John's Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) arrived to find a SUV and sedan with damage with opponents outside.

One female and a child were in the SUV and were assessed by paramedics at the scene, while two females in the sedan didn't require any type of accessed from paramedics.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary closed a small portion of Gower Street, while a tow truck removed the damaged vehicles.
