Disney to Film Movie in NL

The province will welcome a cast and crew of approximately 150 people this summer who will be filming a live-action adventure/fantasy movie “Peter Pan & Wendy.”

Walt Disney Pictures will film the movie across several locations in the province in August. COVID-19 protocols will be implemented and followed at all locations.

The agreement includes a 30 percent rebate on eligible production spend, up to $3 million, to film a portion of a major motion picture in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is estimated that the eligible total spend in the province will be approximately $9 million.
