Diesel prices jump exponentially

The Public Utilities Board has upped the price of diesel across the province and stove oil in western Labrador citing "recent commodity market developments".

The price of diesel has increased by 27.6 cents per litre. Diesel prices range from $2.41 to $2.78 per litre.

Stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador and Churchill Falls has increased by 30.92 cents.

Brent Crude Oil is at $98.75 per barrel.
