Demolition of nurses residence at the former Grace Hospital underway

An eyesore in St. John's is coming down.

Demolition of the nurses’ residence at the site of the former Grace Hospital on LeMarchant Road in St. John’s officially got underway on Friday.

Since the contract was awarded to Inflector Environmental Services in July of last year, hazardous material abatement and disposal has been underway.
