Delay in pump track construction in Quidi Vidi

There has been a delay in the construction of a pump track on the grounds of Quidi Vidi Park.

Construction will start later in the summer after the Royal St. John’s Regatta. Work is expected to be completed in October.

During construction, there will be an area fenced off with no public access. Heavy equipment will require occasional access to The Boulevard.

Public access will be maintained to the dog park, walking trail and parking area.

Details on the opening of the new pump track will be provided after construction is complete.

The City had to revise the start of construction for the recreational pump track due to scheduling adjustments needed to accommodate the scope of work.
