Daily COVID-19 Update:

There are 9 new cases of the virus in this province.

All new cases are located in the Eastern Health Region.

There has been a second death from COVID-19. A 61-year-old was taken from home to hospital where they died from the virus.

Breakdown by Region Eastern Health 216 Central Health 3 Western Health 1 Labrador-Grenfell Health 6 In total there are now 226 cases.

8 are in hospital, 2 of which are in ICU, 32 have recovered.
