Cyclist sent to hospital following Bicycle incident in St John's, Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Prince of Wales Street and Lemarchant Road at about 2:50 p.m. following the incident.

The cyclist was assessed by paramedics with NL Health Services and was taken to an ambulance by stretcher. Their bicycle sustained minor damage in the incident.

A Witnesses stated to Newfoundnews that the male was crossing Lemarchant Road from Barter's Hill to Prince of Wales Street, when a vehicle hit the back end of the bike, the information was not confirmed by the RNC.

RNC are investigating.
