CUPE holding information picket

CUPE is holding an information picket today from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Farmers' Market in St. John's.

The union will be providing information on proposed cuts to the public sector and public services, and the sale of our publicly-owned assets.

CUPE NL President Sherry Hillier says, “it’s shocking that the premier would consider selling off our publicly-owned assets that generate millions of dollars in revenue, but that plan is already in motion now.”
